This Fourth of July, we give thanks not only for the birth of our nation but for the priceless gift of religious freedom. The freedoms protected by the Bill of Rights have allowed the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be preached openly, churches to gather, and believers to proclaim the truth of God’s Word. As we celebrate America’s independence, may we remember that every good gift comes from God. Let us pray for our nation, honor those who have sacrificed for our freedoms, and continue to boldly proclaim Jesus Christ while we still have the liberty to do so. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” — Psalm 33:12 (KJV) To God be the glory. 22 Christians, including Pastor, Murdered in Nigeria

Twenty-two Christians, including a pastor, were reportedly killed in a brutal attack in Plateau State, Nigeria. As we remember our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ, let us pray for the grieving, stand firm in the faith, and remember the words of Hebrews 13:3: “Remember them that are in bonds… as being yourselves also in the body.” To God be the glory.

Philippines urgent prayer needed

A powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck offshore near the southern Philippines on Monday, resulting in at least 32 deaths and more than 200 injuries, primarily due to structural damage. The quake also generated a tsunami with waves reaching about 1 meter (3 feet) along nearby coastal areas.
