Thank God for Our Freedoms

As we celebrate Independence Day, let us remember that one of America’s greatest blessings is the freedom to worship God according to the convictions of our conscience.

We thank the Lord for the liberties protected by Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

We praise God that we are free:

To exercise our faith

To proclaim the Gospel

To assemble together

To speak the truth of God’s Word

All without government interference.

These freedoms are precious, they should never be taken for granted.

Throughout the world, many of our brothers and sisters in Christ face persecution simply for owning a Bible, gathering for worship, or declaring the name of Jesus.

Today, let us give thanks to God for the freedom we enjoy.

Pray for those who are persecuted for their faith.

Holy God give us the courage to faithfully use these freedoms.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…”

May God continue:

To use America for His glory

To bless America

Bring revival to His people

Send holy fire

Raise His Church

Give courage to believers to boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
