This Fourth of July, we give thanks not only for the birth of our nation but for the priceless gift of religious freedom. The freedoms protected by the Bill of Rights have allowed the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be preached openly, churches to gather, and believers to proclaim the truth of God’s Word. As we celebrate America’s independence, may we remember that every good gift comes from God. Let us pray for our nation, honor those who have sacrificed for our freedoms, and continue to boldly proclaim Jesus Christ while we still have the liberty to do so. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” — Psalm 33:12 (KJV) To God be the glory. God bless America.
