Returning to Christ Through Grace, Truth, and Faith
Thoughts by Chaplain Cassia
The message below is an important reminder that the biblical call to repentance must never be neglected. At the same time, Scripture teaches that repentance and faith belong together. We are not saved by our own efforts to turn from sin, but by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). True repentance is the work of the Holy Spirit, leading us to turn from sin and place our trust in the finished work of Christ. As you read, may you be encouraged to examine your heart, look to Jesus, and rejoice in the mercy that is offered to all who come to Him in faith.
The following is an word from Chris Schultz.
War ready in Jesus Ministry.
A church that stops preaching true repentance may fill seats, but it will not prepare souls for eternity.
We are living in a generation that wants comfort without conviction, blessing without surrender, and a Savior without a Lord. But Jesus never preached a gospel of convenience. His first message was: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
When repentance is removed from the pulpit, sin becomes tolerated, conviction grows silent, and people can mistake emotional experiences for genuine transformation. The danger is not that people feel convicted—the danger is that they never do.
True repentance is not religious guilt. It is a Holy Spirit–led turning of the heart. It is laying down pride, compromise, secret sin, unforgiveness, lust, bitterness, and every idol that competes with Christ. Repentance is not God pushing people away; it is God calling people home.
This is a prophetic hour for the Church. We do not need a softer Gospel—we need the full Gospel. The same Jesus who said, “Come to Me,” also said, “Go and sin no more.” His grace forgives, but His truth transforms.
The encouraging news is this: revival begins where repentance begins. Every person who turns to Jesus in humility will find mercy, forgiveness, and a fresh start. The blood of Christ is still powerful enough to cleanse the deepest sin and restore the most broken life.
Church, let us preach with love, but let us preach with truth. Eternity is too important for a watered-down message.
“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” — Acts 3:19

Conclusion from Arsenal of the King International Ministries
The gospel is both an invitation and a call. Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Because of His finished work on the cross, everyone who repents and believes in Him can receive forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life.
May we never separate God’s grace from His truth, nor His mercy from His holiness. Let us proclaim the whole counsel of God with humility, love, and biblical conviction, remembering that repentance is not the end of the message—it points us to the Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to forgive, transform, and give everlasting life.
