Take Down the Evil around you with Spiritual Weapons

One only has to look around to realize that right has become wrong and wrong is right; the leaders of our country have no understanding of truth, loyalty, or honor (Isaiah 5:20). While we think our elected officials are in control, the Bible makes it clear that there is an unseen realm with princes over nations. We know that an angel of God fought the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia, that there was to be a Prince of Greece, and Michael is one of the chief princes of our holy God (Daniel 10:13,19-21). So, according to the Holy Bible, there are spiritual entities of countries. The godless decisions that are contrary to Biblical principles and promotion of evil in countries by rulers/leaders show that officials are at the very least led by the kingdom of darkness and at the very worst worship the darkness and its leader who is the father of lies and unrighteousness (John 8:44). So, what is the righteous to do? How do we war against the evil that is rapidly growing around us? The book of books, the living word of God, has answers for us.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

^“3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

⁴ (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

⁶ And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Ephesians 6:12

^“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

According to the Bible, perilous times will come in the last days. How did the apostles and the early Christians face persecution and death? What do we need to know going into dangerous times? First Christ is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The same God our Lord Jesus Christ who preached the repentance, who hung on the cross for our sins, who rose again and who ascended is coming again; the best news is that He loves you and He did not leave you alone because He sent the Holy Spirit to live inside of you. The knowledge of His love for them is how countless Christians have faced tribulation and have even been martyred. God wrote a love letter for you, and it is found on the pages of His Holy Word. He loves you and wrote the letter with His blood when He died on the cross for you. It is filled with everything you will need for the coming days. Be encouraged, be joyful, and rejoice; God will never leave or forsake you.

Romans 8:35-39

^“35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

³⁶ As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

³⁷ Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Nothing can separate from the love of God

In all these things, we are conquerors through Christ

Tribulation cannot separate us

Distress cannot separate us

Persecution cannot separate us

Famine cannot separate us

Nakedness cannot separate us

Peril cannot separate us

Sword cannot separate us

We are killed for him and conquer in Christ

We are sheep for the slaughter and conquerors in Christ

The love of God in Christ Jesus will never be separated from us

Neither death

Nor life

Nor angels

Nor principalities

Nor powers

Nor things present

Nor things to come

Nor height

Nor depth

Nor any other creature
