My dear ones in Christ, I come to you with tears in my eyes and prayers on my lips as I read about the situation in Kabul with horror. America is reeling from a string of horrific news from Afghanistan. The bomb that killed over 90 Afghans and several U.S. soldiers brought the reality of war closer to home as thirteen of our brave soldiers come home in caskets (1). Unfortunately, their families will receive a flag-covered coffin instead of welcoming their soldiers home. Dear families and friends, I am sorry for what happened to your loved ones. My condolences and prayers seem so small, but you have them, and I am so sorry for your loss.
Christians, I beseech you to intercede for the innocents in Afghanistan. Only God can intervene and bring help to those who are stranded. Pray for their safety, for food, for water, for medicine, and shelter, and for God to hide them from the blood-thirsty Taliban.
America has abandoned its own as U.S. citizens, and our Afghan allies are being left to face the wrath of the Taliban. U.S. citizens are bewildered and angry at the Biden Admin for leaving innocent people to be slaughtered by the Taliban.
The Hill reported,
“U.S. unable to evacuate all Americans out of Afghanistan after military withdrawal” (2).
Glen Beck has stepped in to help Christians escape before the Taliban martyrs them,
“The Biden Administration’s State Department is reportedly blocking the rescue of Afghani Christian converts seeking to flee the now Taliban-run nation to escape an almost certain and unimaginably grotesque death. “The State Department has blocked us every step of the way,” Beck told Fox News host Tucker Carlson in a Thursday night interview. “The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem. “We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out, who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they’re converted Christians.” In a recorded phone conversation with Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) shared via Twitter, Beck recounted how the State Department closed the door on the possibility of sending evacuees to Macedonia.” (3)
The Holy Bible states that Christians are to protect the innocent, to speak up for the voiceless. Was not the U.S. founded on Judeo-Christian values? Is that not why the USA joined several wars to stop the slaughter of innocents.
“8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Look around you; we are no longer a country of honor but a country of greed. Our leaders have forsaken the right thing to do for party politics and greenbacks in their pockets. They do not vote the will of their constituents; instead, most of them vote as they are told and do not speak in outrage to demand impeachment over Biden’s betrayal of our people. Rather, our leaders smell of greed and most freely sample every evil thing offered to them. Pray for revival to ignite the Church of God. Let us raise our voices to heaven for God to protect the moral men and women left in government who love their country and seek to follow the Constitution may make a difference that corruption will rule no more.
“2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
The wicked are ruling America; for a time, they hid their evil from us. Now the door has swung open, and leaders of society, politics, and business openly participate in debaucheries rapt with satanism, sex trafficking, and pedophilia, to name a few.
“20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”
Pray for the Republicans who are introducing articles of impeachment that they may succeed and indeed that this is just the beginning and that the impeachment will expand to the presidency,
“Two articles of impeachment have been introduced by Republican lawmakers to remove Antony Blinken as Secretary of State following the Biden administration’s disastrous, deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan.” (4).
Will Blinken’s impeachment go through, or is he just a fall guy? Did he follow orders from higher up, and if so, where did those orders originate from, and why isn’t Biden being impeached? Unfortunately, little justice is left in the land to curb their dark behavior; they have no fear of America’s justice system, where corruptness has ripped the blindfold off liberty.
So, the wicked rulers laugh and carry on as though they have no consequences, but there is a God in heaven who sees their sinful ways. His Word says affliction will come to the wicked and to those who lead the righteous to sin; beware for the day will come that the living God will judge evildoers if not in this life, then in the one to come.
“22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Therefore is the anger of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.”
“1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
5 They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.”
