“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  (Philippians 2:5-11)

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes  to the Father but by Me.”  (John 14:6)

Christ is the truth,  not merely ethical “truth”, but “truth” in all its fullness and scope, as embodied in Him: He was the perfect expression of the truth.” [Vines]

“If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus.” (Ephesians 4:21)

He is the Word

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.” (John 1:1-4)

Jesus is the living Word of God

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.  And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.”       (Hebrews 4:12-16)

His blood is more precious than gold or silver

(1 Peter 1:18)

Jesus is our Savior

“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”  (1 Corinthians 15:3,4)

Jesus is the greatest gift

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes I Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Confess Jesus and He abides in you

“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”  (1 John 4:15)

His name is our only salvation
(Acts 4:12)
His name makes us children of God

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood not of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”                                             (John 1:1,2)

He is our Rescuer

“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.”                                                                                                              (Colossians 1:13-20)

Jesus is our advocate

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.”  (1 John 2:1,2)

He is the Great High Priest

(Hebrews 4:14)

He is the faithful Intercessor who prays for us
(John 17:20)
We pray in the name of Jesus

In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.”   (John 16:23-24)

He forgives our sins.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  (1 John 1:9)

He cast them in the depths of the sea

“Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?  He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:18,19)

Jesus is the Light of the World

“I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believe in Me will not remain in darkness.” (John 1:8 and John 12:46)

He is Our Light in sorrows
When life brings you to your knees in grief or failure I know the Lord will be your light. He has been my light so many times when my world was dark.  When my heart was breaking He was my Light. His word says it and He is truth.

“But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, The LORD is a light for me.” (Micah 7:7,8)

Jesus is the Good Shepherd

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.” (Psalm 23:4)

“Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (John 10:14)

He is our Comforter

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comforts. who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.”   (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

Jesus is our joy

(John 15:11)

He is our peace

(Romans 5:1)

Jesus is our Defender

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen”  (Jude 24,25)

Husband of the husbandless
The Lord in His foreknowledge put these verses in the Bible. He knew about the large divorce rate and large scale wave of lonely people to come.

“For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.   (Isaiah 54:5)

Father of the fatherless
He also knew about the epidemic level of men rejecting their children and being raised without their fathers. He knew about the surge of loneliness in our society and promises to give a home to the lonely.

“A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.” (Psalm 68)

What is it you need God to supply for you today?
Do you need His gift of salvation?
Do you need his truth?
Jesus Christ is our Provider

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:19)

What is it you need God to provide for you today?
Do you need his comfort? He is a comforter!!
Are you lonely? He is a friend!!
Jesus sustains us.

“The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.” The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and save them. The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.”  (Psalms 145:14-21)

What is it you need God to supply for you today?
Are you depressed? He is joy!!
Are you Anxious? He is peace!!
Jesus gives abundance

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency I everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written, “”HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER.”  Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:8-11)

I am here to tell you God can, will, and does supply everything you need. It says it in His word  and His word is truth. Listen to these verses where God provided.
Jesus supplies all our needs

“Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD;  and the creditor has come to take my children to be his slaves.” Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels at large for yourself from all your neighbors, even empty vessels; do not get a few. “And you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out into all these vessels, and you shall set aside what is full.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they were bringing the vessels to her and she poured. When the vessels were full, she said to her, “there is not one vessel more.” And the oil stopped. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live on the rest.”  (2 Kings 4:1-7)

So what shall God do for you?
You need healing? He is the healer!!
You need provisions? He is the provider!!
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus call on His name!!

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15)

What ever you need He is the Great I Am, the Alpha and Omega
The Holy Spirit calls come

Jesus loves you, call on Him.

“I love the LORD, because He hears My voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.”  (Psalm 116:1,2)

If you have needs God wants to fill them. Call on Him.
God loves you. Call on Him.
He is always waiting to hear from you.
