The Struggle To Win-Fight With God

Have you wondered why the Christian life seems so difficult? There is an enemy that tries to stomp down every move of God in our lives. Pastor Chuck Swindoll (1985) wrote a book titled “Take Three Steps Forward and Two Steps Back” (1).

This title sums up the times in the life of a Christian. We move forward and fall back, sometimes in failure, tribulation, or trials. Do not be discouraged when you have spiritual growth or answers to prayer that seems to flourish and then diminish; this is all part of the growth process. God knew the nature of the enemy and stated the righteous have many troubles, but Jesus delivers us from THEM ALL.

Psalm 34:19

“19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

Failing is part of life. God has given man the unique gift of renewing ourselves daily in Jesus the Word, so when we fall, we can get up and, through Christ, triumph over circumstances and the schemes of the enemy and be unmovable. Stay on the path keep making progress even if you have to crawl do not forsake the commandments and promises of God.

Deuteronomy 5:32-33

“32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.”

DO not give up; instead, unite with heaven, and fight with God for your victory because one step forward is growth and advancement for the Kingdom. Get up brave one of Christ and fight with God.

 Deuteronomy 20:3-4

“3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”
