Hello Brothers and sisters in Christ; I want to talk about how the Lord will deliver us even when we fail. We often think that when we sin, it is the end of the world and we are past the point of no return, but that is not the way Jesus looks at us. You see, Jesus forgives us if we come to Him in repentance. Proverbs 24:16 states,
“16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”
So we are going to flop and fall; that’s what makes us human, but the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come, will deliver us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 says,
“9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
So if we ask Christ to strengthen us and deliver us from the evil, He will. Philippians 4:13,
“13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
Christ Jesus loves us so much He is not willing for any to perish but for all to come to know Him as Lord and Savior (John 3:16). Jeremiah 29:11 states,
“11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
You see, Jesus has a plan for us; yes, we will fail, but praise God every time we get back up, we are closer and closer to reaching God’s plan for our lives. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says,
“17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
So that being said, even though we sinned, are broken, or crashed and burned; if you are a Christian and are trying to live a holy life, you are still a new creation in Christ Jesus.
He loves you very much and has a plan for you, so don’t give up the Lord has you, and He will never leave you or forsake you. Thank you for reading this, and God bless you. Please know the staff of Arsenal of the King are praying for the Lord to bless you abundantly, so that you may walk in His plan. Till we meet again may you be filled with the fullness of His joy.
