Second Amendment of the Constitution
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Wake up, Americans!! Is the Biden Administration attacking 2nd Amendment freedoms that American gun owners enjoy by allegedly amassing records of gun owners and making a private gun registry? So you don’t own a gun and don’t care. Think about this, if they seek to diminish one amendment, what is their next step. Have you heard the saying, “the 2nd protects the 1st“? People, the 1st Amendment includes our right to free speech, including our right to religion, press, assembly, and petitions (Constitution). So one infringement on the Bill of Rights infringes all the Amendments. Here are some startling facts from GOA,
“Gun Owners of America has obtained internal ATF documents that suggest the Biden-Harris Administration is secretly establishing a national gun registry. The ATF has already amassed records on over 54 MILLION gun-owning citizens in 2021 alone…We cannot let the Biden-Harris Administration establish a federal gun database of innocent citizens who are merely exercising our constitutionally protected, God-given rights.” (1)
The big issue with tracking Americans who have firearms is that the government shouldn’t have the right to harass citizens for owning property that is not for criminal use. It goes against liberty, a foundation of our country. It should be presumed not for criminal use, as innocent until proven guilty is still a thing. It changes if a crime is committed with said property.
According to the Free Beacon,
“The Biden administration in just the past year alone stockpiled the records of more than 54 million U.S. gun owners and is poised to drastically alter gun regulations to ensure that information on Americans who own firearms ultimately ends up in the federal government’s hands, according to internal Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF). The ATF obtained 53.8 million paper records and another 887,000 electronic records, according to the internal document that outlines ATF actions in the fiscal year 2021. Gun activists described this figure as worryingly high. They said it contributes to fears that the Biden administration is trying to keep track of all Americans who own firearms, in violation of federal statutes. The procurement of these records by the ATF comes as the Biden administration moves to alter current laws to ensure that gun records are stored in perpetuity. The ATF’s registry site has long been a battleground between gun advocates and the federal government.” (2)
Not only is this an issue with liberty, but any infringement on firearms is unconstitutional, including tracking Americans, which infringes on the right to own firearms through regulations. Also, as the Free Beacon says, it violates federal statutes (2).
“The experts have always agreed that gun control is the single best way to take freedom away from the people.”…Throughout history, every country that has registered guns has always told its populace it is for the greater good and safety of all. Once the registration was complete, the confiscation began. Remember Hitler? How about Stalin? Saddam Hussein? It worked in Nazi Germany, and gun control works today in Cuba, Libya, and the Soviet Union.” (3)
Gun registries are not only unconstitutional; they are dangerous. Considering how anti-gun and authoritative this administration has been this past year, the probability of amassing a secret registry is not unlikely. The point is the Biden Administration does not follow our country’s rules and laws. Germany before WW2 is an example of a country that initiated firearm registration and remember what happened?
“Ultimately, registration will let the government know who owns guns and what guns they own. History provides the outcome: confiscation. And a people disarmed is a people in danger. In Germany, firearm registration helped lead to the holocaust…Firearms registration lists, moreover, were used to identify gun owners…When the S.S. arrived, more than the gun would disappear, the owner would never be seen [sic] again. These policies were promulgated in every country conquered by Hitler, and with the same results.” (3)
What does God have to say?
God believes in carrying weapons, training, and protecting ourselves and those around us.
Luke 22:35-36
“35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

“34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.”
Psalm 144:1
“Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.”
Hope is still here
Even though the Biden-Harris Administration may be compiling a gun registry, the fact that their plan has been revealed is a key to understanding their next move. We have hope when we work against the enemies of freedom by using our voices to share our disapproval by calling, texting, emailing governmental officials, joining pro-gun groups, and organizing peaceful protests. Christians can pray and fast against this tyranny because the long-term results of a gun registry could be the loss of our First Amendment rights by banning free speech. To be clear, the loss of free speech in other countries has come with restricted thought, opinion, and religion being regulated by the state. Christian persecution rises when believers are forced to agree to a state religion or have no religion. Christians must stand up for freedom before we lose it. In Romania, during WW2, and in its aftermath, freedom of religion was lost. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand was imprisoned and beaten for evangelism, first by the Germans and then the Communists (4).
How can we align with God?
We can pray to push back the powers of darkness that control our nation. For the Lord God to give us more time. If the USA falls, then one of the vestiges of freedom falls. Christians can battle against the unrighteous plans of those lurking in the shadows of the government through God’s power, “4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2 Corinthians 10:4). Remember we are not fighting against people but evil in high places, “12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). Fight by prayer and fasting. Organize prayer groups and use your voice to fight for good.
After WW2, people stood by while pulpits preached to stay out of politics, and our country began a slide, losing freedom one vote, one law, one regulation at a time. Where was the outcry when Democrat Rep Nadler basically kicked God out and said, “God’s will is no concern of this Congress”? (5) Christians sat back and wrung their hands as they watched the decline of our country. We need to repent for our inaction, for our parents’ inaction, and for our grandparent’s inaction when un-Biblical laws and mores were passed and accepted by society. It is time to fight for decentness and righteousness. It is never too late to fight for the innocent, call out the pedophiles, the greedy profiteers, shine the light on corruption, and pray for our nation. It will be hard, but He will give you the strength to talk to your friends and family, speak out on social media, tell the truth of Christ, speak for those who are molested, trafficked, and abused. You may lose some friends, make people mad at you, or they may ridicule your faith. Do not be dismayed, for He will give you courage. It is time to draw your line in the sand, say I will be silent no more, and make your stand against the darkness. Make no mistake, time is short we are in the last days, my friend, so I ask you if not now when? I leave you with the words of our Savior for the same God who encouraged and edified Joshua will fortify you.
