Prophetic Word From God To His Warriors

My fellow brothers and sisters in the faith, I pray this finds you prospering in the Lord. During intercession, I asked our Lord God what He would say to His warriors through Arsenal of the King. The word I received from the Holy Spirit was Father God is calling His children to be truth-bearers. In this world, we are deluged by deceit. We find deception in the media, in our schools, from our friends, and, unfortunately, even from the pulpit. We who bear the name of Him who was slain for us must carry the truth of the Gospel to a confused, deceived, and dying world; for if we do not speak truth, who will. It is essential to understand that before we can know truth Christ Jesus tells us that we must be born again to become a child of God.

John 3:5-7

“5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

What a miracle that man can be born again. It is a concept outside of our reality that only God, our Redeemer, could share with us; think of it, we can leave our old self full of decay and sin and be transformed by being born anew in Christ. In John 3:7, the word “born again” is metaphorically “of God making men his sons through faith in Christ’s work.” (1).

Not only did God the Father exhibit unfathomable love towards mankind when He gave Christ to die on the cross, but God the Son showed ultimate love for man when He was displayed for all to see on the cross. Thus, the unmatchable sacrifice of Christ redeemed man, and through our faith in Christ’s redemptive work, we can be children of God (1).

The Apostle John wrote in John 3:3-7, 1 John 2:29, & 3:9  of the … “gracious act of God in conferring upon those who believe the nature and disposition of “children,” imparting to them spiritual life.” (1) Just think about it what a  miraculous act of God that we who believe in the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus are transformed to be children of God through our faith in His redeeming sacrifice. The Holy Spirit lives in God’s children, and because He is the Spirit of Truth, we are truth-bearers; as such, we must understand that it is the truth that Christ Jesus proclaimed that He is Truth. The Bible states it is impossible for God to lie, so Christ, who is the Son of God and equal to God, could not, cannot, and will not lie. In this age of deception, Christians must acknowledge Christ cannot lie, and because He is the Word of God, the Bible cannot lie. We must know with every certainty, for our lives and future may depend on this truth, that Jesus Christ, the Word of God, cannot lie. When reality or the world tells us the Bible is wrong, we must stand on the precepts and teaching found in the Holy Bible, the Word of God, and measure everything by the written word.

John 14:6

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Let us recap some pertinent points; we know from the Holy Bible that Jesus is the Word of God, Jesus Christ is the truth, and the Word of God is the truth. Jesus, the Son of God who is the Word who became man, God in the flesh, lived with us, and as such, we find it is a never-ending circle that Christ is the truth (John 1). Knowing that Christ is truth, we realize that Christ, the gospel fulfilled, is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Our knowing the truth is so important to Him that He prayed for the disciples (Christians) or the ones the Father has given Him to be sanctified in truth.

John 17:17

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

According to BLB, this verse is talking about “the truth as taught in the Christian religion, respecting God and the execution of his purposes through Christ…” (1)

Now that we have established that Christ is truth, let us move further into the prophetic word given by God to find out how we become truth-bearers. As I studied the Holy Scripture, I was led to Ephesians and holy writing on how we live truth by laying aside our old ways putting to death our old man full of lust, deceit, and pride being renewed daily by the truth of Christ. When we are walking with Christ in His likeness of righteousness, and holiness we speak the truth by our lives to others which is the gospel and all it embodies. How captivating that we bear the truth of the gospel as we live holy lives.

Ephesians 4:17-24

“17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

The Holy Spirit urged me to reread verse (21), where God confirmed our Lord Yeshua is truth.  “…Even as truth is in Jesus,” gives the correct rendering, the meaning is not merely ethical “truth,” but “truth” in all its fullness and scope, as embodied in Him; He was the perfect expression of the truth; this is virtually equivalent to His statement in John 14:6.” Now back to the prophetic word that God is calling His children to be truth-bearers, and if you are a child of God, you are to bear His truth.

Ephesians 4:21

“21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus.”

Christ fulfilled Biblical prophecies of the coming Messiah. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, and in John 17, we learn the Word is Truth. We cannot separate Christ from the Word of God; they are one and the same. Now, we will focus on the second word the Holy Spirit gave us, bearer.

What is a bearer? In Luke 14:27, a bearer is one who bears things, “metaphorically in respect of sufferings endured in the cause of Christ, carries the truth of Christ or carrying in “respect to sufferings endured for the cause of Christ.” (1) We who have accepted the pure gospel are bearers of and with Christ.

According to Vines, a bearer is also one who begets children in the spiritual sense, to share the gospel, to lead one to Christ as in, “One who by means of preaching the gospel becomes the human instrument in the impartation of spiritual life.” (1)

Remember, we found out that truth is the gospel, so we, as His children, bear/share His precepts and teachings. What does that mean for us? When a Christian that includes you preaches the redemptive work of Christ or the pure gospel and the person accepts or believes the gospel, the preacher or giver of the Word is used by God to bring new life to the person. Imagine the joy when people have a child. They take pictures and call all of their relatives. The joy new parents feel puts in perspective the verse that angels rejoice in heaven when a person accepts, declares, or believes in the gospel (Luke 15:7). How wonderful that we share in God’s plan to help a person become a new man or woman in Christ Jesus. Of course, this carries the responsibility of discipleship, but we will not enter into that subject today.

In the Bible, examples of Christians being parents are found in the life of the Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 4 and Philemon 10.

I Corinthians 4:15,16

“15 For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.”

Philemon 10

“10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds.”

We are soldiers of Yeshua, as disciples of the King, as His warriors, we are called to be truth-bearers. We are required by Scripture to lay down our old lives, be renewed, put on a new self filled with holiness, and speak the truth. It is not a duty to those who love their King. It is an honor to give up worldly fleshly desires and live for Jesus, who loves us with everlasting love.

Ephesians 4:17-27

“17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

When we started, it seemed that truth-bearers was such a little phrase. Yet, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we delved into the Bible and found out how amazing is it that God uses man to share His Biblical truth.  Moving on with the certainty that Christ is truth, our reality, and holds all Scriptural truth, we learned that as a bearer of truth, we joyfully bear or preach His truth to others, the Good News of the Gospel.

1 Corinthians 15:3,4

“3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

Christian, live your life with meaning. We only have one life to live, and then eternity. Life is short, so choose carefully this day whom to serve, for we all will stand in judgment—one to the great white throne and one to the bema or judgment seat of Christ. Christian, do you want to be embarrassed before Christ? All of our works will be put through the fire, some burn up and some to gold.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

“12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”

Did you know that there is a crown of rejoicing often called the soul-winners crown (1 Thessalonians 2:19)?  Share the gospel because Hell is a real place filled with burning fire. We do not want to have loved ones go there. Christ is not willing for any to perish, but He made us to be His hands, His feet to share the gospel with purity and truth. He showed love to man on the cross, and He wants no one to perish. His sacrificial death should raise our resolve to preach the Kingdom. For are we not imitators of the King who are called to be His truth-bearers. We are called to share the good news and partner with God, who alone can make a new man out of an old man. We love Christ, and in our love for our Savior, would we not want to please Him. Sharing the gospel is very important to Christ; in fact, the last thing His Majesty did before He ascended to heaven was to command His disciples to go forth to all nations. Will you be a truth bearer? Will you show your love for Christ? Will you follow His command, or will you stand before the throne of Christ empty-handed and forlorn with no rewards to give Him?

Matthew 28:18-20

“18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
