In Uncertain Times We Can Be Blessed

This holiday season will look different for millions of people. The one sure thing that we can be thankful for in these uncertain times when we do not know what will happen in the future is that God is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We can be thankful that our Father God loves us, and like any good parent, Abba wants to hear from us. Praise to the Lord that as children of God, we can call to our caring Lord Jesus when we are distressed, for He is ever waiting, He is “the God of gods, and the Lord of lords” (Psalms 13:2-3, KJV). This Thanksgiving and every day of our lives, we are the most blessed of all peoples because Christ listens to our prayers (Psalm 66:9). We can praise God that when everything around us may be changing and our world is falling apart that Jesus pulls us out of our despair, our pit, and sets us upon the rock that does not move (Psalm 40:1-2). We say hallelujah that Christ is our cornerstone, the immutable One who never changes the One we depend on to be the firm foundation for our lives (Psalm 118:12, Isaiah 28:16, Acts 4:10-12 Romans 9:33, Ephesians 2:20-22, I Peter 2:4-9).

Christians raise a thank you to God for His care and love for us. Give thanks to God, the maker of the universe, who gave us His Son. We thank Jesus that in His tender care, He gives us water to drink and food to eat. We thank Father God for His goodness, for He is marvelous beyond human comprehension. Brothers and Sisters praise His holy name, Jesus; we give You praise. My friend, let your spirit rise up to praise King Jesus for His love for us. Friends of God praise Jesus that He gave His life for us, and praise God that He made us sons and daughters filled with His righteousness. Christians worship the Lord, praise Him, praise Him, praise Him for He is good (Psalm 148).

We need to recognize that without our Lord God, we are nothing. We are alone, sitting in our sin and despair; we are fortunate that He loves us. Just think about it in all our unworthiness. He loved us. No amount of gratitude will ever be big enough for us to give the Messiah to make up for His matchless love. So, we offer our hearts, our lives, and our mouths ring out, we thank you, God, that you love us. Thank you, Jesus, that You are outside of our timeline, and You are an infinite God who loved, loves, and will always love us (Revelation 1:8).

John 3:16-17

“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Thank The Lord That He Is Merciful

Thank The Lord For His Goodness

Thank the Lord, for He is immeasurable in His mercy. Jesus Christ made the earth, the water, the heavens, and He loves and created us. We are so favored that each of us are important to God. We Praise Your name that You love us, thank You Abba. It is because He is God that we know we can depend on His compassion for us during these difficult times. The Lord of Lords, Who is full of wisdom, will guide us through dark paths that lay ahead. Believers rejoice when your wallet is empty, and there is no money in the bank because this is an opportunity for God in His mercy to take care of His children. Ask Him for what is needed for His kindness is without measure, He will provide furnish what we need because He promised in His Word, and Messiah is not a liar (Numbers 22:19). Make a mental list and begin to thank Jesus for everything in your life. God loves it when we thank Him for our blessings, and the thankfulness will begin to change your outlook to a heavenly perspective.

Psalms 136:1-9

“1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

God Listens

God Hears Us

How reassuring that God hears our prayers. Friend, take comfort that Our Lord, listens when we cry out to Him. We thank you, Lord, that You are not a God who sits on a shelf who cannot speak and cannot move (Deuteronomy 4:28-29). Our God is alive!! He hears our prayers, He hears our cries in the night, and He hears what we are crying out. Christian be delighted that He watches over us in all we do because He is Our Father, and it is in this very watchfulness that we know the Most-High will provide for us. We can rejoice that Almighty God desires an intimate relationship with His children.

1 John 5:14-15

“14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

1 Peter 3:12

“12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”

Thank God For Water

Several sites are predicting there may soon come a time that water is scarce. Recently we all remember going into the grocery store or the big box stores near us and seeing empty shelves at the water aisle. Water is a necessity of life. As Christians, we need to thank God for clean water and pray that we will always be able to have it on hand to drink. The following link is to a warning the Lord gave AOK back in March to store water for our families, and it will also detail how much should be kept for each person.

Now is the Time to Prepare

God provided water for the Israelites to drink, and if we pray and seek His guidance on what to do about the coming water crisis, He will answer.

Exodus 17:5-6

“5 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.”

Thank God For Food

God supplies Our Needs

Lord God, we thank you for food, for ourselves, our families, those around us. We thank and praise God for the food He provides. We realize that the statistics and the data are negative and show food shortages. We acknowledge our dependence on Jesus Christ, who “will supply all your needs” as He supplied for the 4,000 men and their families (Philippians 4:19). We seek Your guidance on all our decisions concerning food purchases and humble ourselves before you and acknowledge You are our provider.

It is so important to thank God for our food, especially when in recent times and in the future food has been scarce, and we only have to look on the web to find numerous articles detailing the coming food shortages. God is the only constant in our lives; in a prophetic word from God in March had Arsenal of the King warn about coming food shortages,

“So, when you go to the store, try to buy ahead not to take more than your family will need but be sure to fill up with some non-perishable cans and staples that you can have on hand.” (1)

“Feeding America, a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks, projects a 6 billion to 8 billion meal shortfall in the next 12 months..”(2)

Philippians 4:18-20

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Matthew 15:35-39

“35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.”

God Is Holy

We Are Commanded To Be Holy

Our God is a holy God, Who wants a holy people to love and serve Him, and it is because of our love for Him, the Great I AM, that we want to holy, we long to be holy, we rejoice in His holiness. Be thankful and joyous this special time of year because Jesus our Lord is mighty and worthy of our praise. Even now tell your spirit to be joyous because He who sits upon the throne is very man and very God is perfect and without dross or fault. We can be exhilarated that the Lord, our maker is not like us but is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY.  Friend it is in our realization of His holiness that we begin the transformation to be like Christ. Our spirit craves to be like Him who loves us so and we cry out to God to repent for our sins, and seek a closer relationship with a pure God who calls His people to be holy and consecrated to Him (Leviticus 19:1-2).

Psalm 97:12

“12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.”

1 Peter 1:15-16

“15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Hebrews 12:14

“14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

Leviticus 19:1-2

“1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.”

We Need To Repent

The Lord Will Not Hear Our Prayers With Sin

Our God is a righteous and holy God who will have no agreement with unrighteousness. We need to seek His forgiveness when we sin, for He has no darkness in Him. He is God. No matter what you have done the reedming grace of Jesus Christ forgives you, and parts your sin as far as east is from the west. But only if you repent and turn back to God will He hear you. By the blood of Jesus Christ and only through Jesus Christ are you forgiven. Cry out, for He hears.

Psalm 66:17-20

“17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.”

1 John 1:4-10

“4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

Hope In The Lord

Trust in Jesus

Praise God that all our hope and trust is in Christ. There is none better than the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to place our lives and our futures. We look towards the sweet embrace of our Companion and King Jesus Christ, for the one day, we leave this painful world to go to our home. For those that are alone this year, God loves you, Jesus is there for you. Times get tough; as Christians, we lean upon the Holy Spirit, the great comforter. Just remember Jesus is more real than the ground your standing on, more real than everything you see. That inner voice is calling to you; the Holy One is calling to you. Hearken to His voice, hearken to His Word; He is there. He is faithful; He will never leave you or forsake you. He holds your tears in a bottle and adores you more than you will ever know. Just cry out to God; He will hear; cry out to Our Lord and friend. Hope in the Lord, for He lives within you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

“11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Psalms 42:11

“11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

Romans 15:7-12

“7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Thank the Lord for His Care

Sing And Praise His Name

God, we thank you that without your kindness, we have nothing except which comes from your care and merciful hand. We pray you will continue to provide for all our needs. We are empty of heart and belongings without your grace and care. We praise ye for Who You are, we lift up our arms to glorify Our King, and sing praises to the Lord for He is good. We love you, Lord. Let all His children praise the Lord Who keeps His eye upon us. Who loves us, and protects us with His strong right arm. Praise the name of King Jesus Who never leaves or forsakes us.

Psalm 105:1-6

“1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.”
