Kingdom Truth in Parables
Parables are teachings given by Jesus in the form of stories, shared in ways the people of His day could understand, with deep spiritual laws and precepts taught in a Kingdom code that can only be revealed through the Holy Spirit.
Parables were filled with lessons people of the time could understand in the earthly realm, while simultaneously teaching spiritual truths through the revelation of the Spirit of Christ.
Parables never depart from teaching the Kingdom of God, which is foreign in nature to the unredeemed man.
How can the unrighteous understand the divine holiness central to God’s nature?
The precepts of the Kingdom were, and still are, so countercultural that these heavenly concepts cannot be grasped by minds unenlightened by the Holy Spirit.
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
After the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and prior to His bodily ascension, the disciples were instructed by Christ to pray and wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon them with power (Acts 1:8).
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
If the disciples needed the Holy Spirit to understand, obey, and carry the message of Christ, then we must not try to walk this Christian life in our own strength. The disciples received the Holy Spirit, and beloved, so can we, for this promise was not limited to the early church.
The Disciples Needed Revelation
Even the disciples did not understand the Kingdom principles behind the Parable of the Sower; they required divine revelation to comprehend its meaning (Matt. 13).
If those who walked with Christ needed the wisdom of God to understand the treasures within the parables, how much more do we?
Cry Out for Wisdom and Revelation
For how can a human know things to come, or discern the plans of the enemy against them or their family, except by the Holy Spirit?
If you desire the revelation and power of the Holy Spirit, know this: He is available to the children of God, but we must seek Him, ask of the Father, and yield ourselves to His holy leading.
My friend, cry out to God to be filled with the Holy Spirit, for He is God.
The Bible Promises You the Spirit of Christ
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
(Acts 2:38–39)
The Holy Spirit is our Guide and reveals to each of us the mysteries of God (1 Cor. 2:10).
He gives wisdom, revelation, discernment, and guidance to the children of God according to the Father’s will.
Therefore, we must seek Him, listen for His leading, and trust that He will reveal what we need to know in His timing.
Holy Spirit for All Disciples
Remember, beloved, the Holy Spirit leads God’s children in agreement with Y’shua and the Word of God. He does not draw us away from truth, but guides us deeper into the wisdom, will, and ways of the Father.
Be encouraged that our Holy God wants His children to walk in His wisdom, hear His voice, and be led by His Spirit.
The Spirit of Truth reveals to us the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that are found in Christ Himself, for in Christ “are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col. 2:2–3).
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5 KJV)
If You Call Him He will Answer
Have faith if you believe you will hear.
Claim this Word. Y’shua tells us, “My sheep hear my voice” (John 10:27).
Take hope, Abba God will lead His children in His way:
“Your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way; walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.” (Isa. 30:20–21)

“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.” (Ezekiel 3:17)
May God bless you abundantly, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
