Jesus Christ is divine, the seed of the highest God, and in such plans to nullify the Gospel of redemption, for the virgin birth is crucial to the forgiveness of man’s sin. For how could a mere human with fleshly desire and sin atone as a perfect sacrifice of all who will ever live? They could not! In the omniscience of God according to His perfect strategy to reconcile man to holy God (striking a mortal blow to the enemy by fulfilling the prophecy of the one who would crush Satan (Gen 3:15), the Omnipotent Creator of entirety sent Jesus, the Holy Divine One (who laid aside His glory) to be intertwined with (earthly flesh). The Holy Spirit overshadowed a virgin of Hebrew descent; this interlacing of the supernatural (spiritual) Holy One with man created the perfect God-man-Jesus (born of the Holy Spirit, Christ did not carry the seed of human male); thus, the divine melded with flesh creating hundred percent God and a hundred percent man.
The gloriousness of Father God is that He loved man so much that He became man to reconcile man with Himself. It is so remarkable that Jesus loved us so much, for “no greater love has a man than to lay down his life for a friend” (John 15:13), which should bring rejoicing to our being with our spirits lifted in exaltation to the King. God loves us! Jesus deserves the highest praise! He rescued us from the Kingdom of darkness; we were lost in our sins, chained to dark addictions and habits. The enemies of God, rebellious and disobedient to the Torah (Christ’s love is incomprehensible to human cognition and must be revealed by the Holy Spirit), Jesus presented His life to atone for us (2 Cor. 5:18-19).
The blood sacrifice of Jesus on the cross enables man, by the belief and acceptance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, to have forgiveness of sins, becoming one new man (not related to race (Eph. 4:24). The weaving of the spiritual (Holy Ghost) with natural (man) brings about remarkable change that is often miraculous in the outcome. How wonderful, the divine Spirit of Christ has supernaturally intertwined with mere humans and resides inside those who believe (Ro. 8:9). Be thankful that Creator God resides inside us, giving hope to triumph over the old man, besetting sins and the enemy.
“57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.“
1 Corinthians 15:57
Saul (Christian killer) encountered Jesus and, through the power of the Spirit of Christ, was supernaturally changed by the Holy Spirit and transformed into Paul the Apostle. Cephas, a fisherman after discipling with Christ, was called Peter, was filled with the Spirit at Pentecost, spoke boldly, and many became Christians.
“17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
If we heard stories throughout the ages, we would find men and women whom the Spirit of Christ transformed. What does God want to do in you? Would you be an intercessor and have over 50,000 answers to prayer as George Muller? Or start a revival like New England traveling preacher Johnathan Edwards? What is God calling you to do? Remember you can start small. Ask God to ignite that calling in you. Keep praying! Do not let up till you hear from God. (God’s callings are never contrary to His word.)
Beloveds of Christ come forth from the wilderness. Go after your calling with desperation and be changed through the Holy Spirit of God. Hudson Taylor had no one believe in his calling, and after years of faithfulness, his work became the China Inland Mission that reached millions for God. You can do all things through Christ (Phil. 4:13). Take a risk, do not give up, lean on your beloved; and be sealed by Jesus, with an unquenchable love.”
“5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.“5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.
6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.”
Song of Solomon 8:5-7
