When it seems like the enemy is winning, rejoice. Rejoice in the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, who is Jesus Christ. For God never leaves nor forsakes you, no matter the circumstances.
“For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” (Heb 13:5)
Even if you’re walking to the gallows or to be martyred, God has not deserted you. He is with you every step of the way. Jesus loves you. He stretched out his arms to die for you upon the cruel cross. He holds you in his nails scarred hands, and will never leave or forsake you (Heb 13:5). For you are his, and you’re in the palm of his hands, and not only that but in the palm of his father’s hands, who is even greater.
“For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” (Isaiah 41:13)
Nothing will ever separate you from the love of God. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. Rejoice in the God of your salvation. Lift your eyes. To the hills, for hence comes your salvation.
“37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:37-39)
The Lord loves you. He loves you. He loves you. Do not despair. He has your best interests at heart. Believe in him, and know that he is God.
“28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Rom 8:28)
Look for a way of escape. Look for what needs to be done. Look for the ray of hope. The light shining in the darkness is him.
“7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” (Micah 7:7-8)
Lord, pull them out of the Miry Clay and give them the victory to rise again. Give them the strength, the courage, and the ability to rise in the name of Jesus Christ. My friend, do not be discouraged, for the God of the universe loves you and will be with you in every situation. Do not despair. Have hope.
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Romans 15:13)
Never forget in and through God we have the victory, we are victorious in Jesus Christ. Praise him in the storm, clap your hands and sing and rejoice for Jesus will deliver you or give you the ability to navigate the storm. For he is the Captain of our soul, and has command over the circumstances. So, sing my soul for our Redeemer lives.
May God bless you abundantly,
Chaplain
