Hello, brothers and sisters in Christ. Today we are going to talk about not just saying Godly things but doing them and living out our faith; yes, it is incredible to say Godly things, but God blesses people who make a step in faith to let God use you to make a change in this world such as pro-life ministries, homeless services and recovery homes for drug addicts and alcoholics.
My father always told me don’t just tell me you’re going to do something actually do it, and that is an excellent example for us Christians to live for Christ
Matthew 5:16 says,
“Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
You see when you do good works seeds are planted, salvation happens, healing happens, revival happens, and all of that happens through our Lord God Jesus. You are important and God uses you to make a change in the world when you don’t just say you will do something but do what you say.
Ephesians 5:1-2
“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.”
You see, we are supposed to be imitators of Christ, and to live for Christ is to help the widows and orphans. I think this would include homeless people as well for are they not in distress?
James 1:27
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
Thank you for your time; remember, Jesus loves you so much; it doesn’t matter what you have done or been through. Jesus can heal you and deliver you; all you have to do is ask Him for forgiveness for your sins and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior; then, you are saved, my friend.
God bless you.
