Strongholds of the Enemy-Deluded Minds-Judgment

Glory to The Lord! We are in a battle that is beyond what some might call “demonic.” I don’t believe mere demons could accomplish so great a level of deception and wickedness. In this author’s humble conviction, there are strongholds and mighty territorial forces at work that are deluding the hearts and minds of our nation and western civilization as we know it. The grand scale insanity of human sacrifice (“Abortion”), immorality, greed, pedophilia, human trafficking, and godlessness has now reached a level to which men believe they are women; humans believe they are cats or some other animals; white people think they can be Asian/black/etc.

Much like in the city of Ninevah, people don’t know their right hand from their left (Jonah 4:11). Confusion abounds.

Isaiah 13:11

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”

When a nation throws God away from them, it is only a matter of time before God takes His truth and blessings away with Him. I believe our nation is already under judgment.

It has not yet reached its completion, but I do believe it is started, and we have already been handed over to be ravaged by the enemy. It is my conviction that we are being disciplined. Perhaps we could say that we are being allowed by God to reap what we have sown, and please, oh Lord, will this discipline draw us to repentance and revival before it is too late!

In Joel chapter one, we read of waves of armies… Locust armies which ravage the people and invade every crevice of the culture. And in Joel 2, we see that this is all part of the judgment of God, leading up to the day of God’s vengeance. But notice in verse 12 and following that the call goes forth that there is still time to repent! If they would rend their hearts and repent with great mourning over their sin, it may be that YHWH would relent from the destruction He had planned and, instead, leave a blessing rather than a curse! Much can be said about this passage of Scripture, but please simply notice two things…

FIRST, it should be noted that spiritual forces of wickedness will show no mercy. Read the first few verses of Joel 1 and notice that these “locusts” will devour EVERYTHING. Locusts seem to be seen elsewhere in Scripture as a picture of demons (see Revelation 9). But these demons are under the authority of Satan, who is the king of the world (Matthew 4:3-11, John 14:30). It is my conviction that when Satan becomes enthroned in a particular area, the demons are set loose to accomplish the bidding of Satan. But the grand-scale deception is happening at a much higher level than what these demons can accomplish. Satan creates strongholds of heart delusion and even blinds the hearts of many so they cannot comprehend the truth of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Henceforth, societies end up without any light, living in the darkness of their own thinking, and the results can be horrific. What else could account for the masses looking at dismembered babies in the womb and, rather than calling it murder, they call it “Healthcare”? Our nation is under strong delusion, and now that the strongholds have been built, the demons are overtaking us.

Ephesians 6:12

“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

But SECONDLY, we can see from Joel 2 that there may still be time! Time to repent and see the Mighty and outstretched Hand of Jesus drive away the demons and Satan himself from our country! Jesus is powerful, and if we would repent and rend our hearts and turn to Him with a great cry for mercy, could it be that He would shine His mercy upon us? Could it be that rather than death and violence, we would be healed? Could it be that He would restore the years that the locusts have eaten? May we repent and turn to Jesus, The King of kings and the Lord of lords. Only He can save us! Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit! Let us be revived, O’ Lord!
