Burns (06/17/2022), “The Federal Reserve Bank announced a 75 basis point interest rate hike on Wednesday…The move comes after inflation hit a new, 40-year high last week, with consumer prices reaching an 8.6 percent mantel over where they were a year ago. ” For consumers, that is ¾ of an interest rate hike.
According to the Hill (Burns 06/17/2022), there are five ways the American household will be affected by the interest rate increase of the Feds:
- Rise of interest (which means larger payments) for credit cards, mortgage, and car payments
- Intense moving in prices and falling stock markets
- Tougher to find employment
- Probability of escalation of recession
- Steeper cost in the national deficit (more money for US citizens to pay/owe)
Arsenal of the King reported on the coming inflation, but there is someone who reported on the future inflation, food shortages, and famine much further back. Jesus Christ spoke this to the Apostle John,
Revelation 6:5-6
“5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”
Evil Leaders Will Suffer
The following verses in Isaiah One could be speaking of those in Washington who sold their Christian birthright out and sold their votes to the highest bidder. Leaders who rebel towards Father God, who has blessed our country, sleep with whores and thieves and garnish themselves with ill-gotten riches while selling out their constituents. Their votes are smeared with the blood of innocents who never drew a breath. “Mene, Men Tekel”, you have been judged and found wanting; the handwriting is on the wall (Daniel 5:25-27).
Evil rulers there is a God in Heaven and He watches everything you do. In fact, El Shaddai spoke to the unjust rulers and unrighteous through the prophet Isaiah,
Isaiah 1:15-23
“15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:
23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.”
