Thank God, For Those Who Gave Their All For Our Freedom

On this memorial day we honor those who fought for our country and lost their lives to protect our freedom. The Bible states,
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Matthew 15:13

Men through the ages have gone to war, and of late, women, to protect their families, their way of life, the innocent, and freedom. Memorial Day is a day to honor those who gave their lives for our way of life. Take a moment to ponder all that we have because of their sacrifice. Today we honor their courage and bravery for us.

There was another brave warrior who went to war against sin, death, and the works of unrighteousness. His courageous sacrifice freed those who believe from enslavement by the enemy to freedom in Christ. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus brought the greatest victory over an ancient enemy, death, and the grave. Does not Holy Spirit write through the Apostle Paul,

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

Thank you to all who served and gave their lives for our freedoms. You are missed, and your sacrifice brought freedom to many. God bless you all who served and are serving.
