Lord God we pray for the victims, their families and friends as they deal with the horrific incident. Lord God only you can comfort them as they deal with this tragedy. Be their peace in this time of confusion. Fill their hearts with your peace and grant them rapid recovery from their physical and emotional wounds. Bless the Church and its parishioners as they deal with the shock and grief of this unthinkable event. Let other churches rise up in the area to bring comfort, love and hope to the distressed members. Lord we do not understand when evil such as this occurs but we are grateful that you will guide them every step of the way, and stand beside them as they walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
