1 Timothy 2:1-2
“ I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”
There is good news coming from the Senate today where a bill passed in a 48 to 47 total, in which senators voted to terminate “national emergency declaration” for COVID-19 (1).
Senator Marshall, a Republican from Kanas, stated,
“The robust powers this emergency declaration provides the federal government are no longer necessary, and Congress must debate, and ultimately repeal them, in order to begin the process of unwinding the powers the government took hold of during the peak of the crisis” (1).
Though this will come as no surprise, Biden threatens to veto the bill (1).
Two bills raised by Republicans to repeal vaccine mandates by Biden were already killed in the House with a Democratic majority (1).
The freedom convoy is rolling towards DC. Some of the politicians are listening in the Senate. Let us stand together to take down the unconstitutional use of emergency powers to control the people and fleece the American people by demanding more money for COVID-19. Let us keep up the pressure for change by praying, and using our voices to call, text, and email our governmental leaders. We want to stop the mandates and let freedom ring.
