Bad news for religious freedom in Democratic-run Maine!! Unfortunately, the Justices of the Supreme Court have declined to hear arguments from Maine health care personnel concerning a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine for all healthcare workers (1).
Religious Exemptions
Health care workers came against the mandates as unconstitutional when Maine refused any religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccines, which were mandatory to work in health care (1). According to Epoch Times, the case will start again at a lower appeal court.
The following is an excerpt from an email from the office of Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey, a Democrat, to The Epoch Times: “The Supreme Court has once again declined to review the lower court rulings upholding Maine’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement for healthcare workers. Maine’s vaccination rule is constitutional and remains in place. We will continue to defend the rule, which is critical for the protection of patients, healthcare workers, and Maine’s healthcare system against COVID-19 (1).”
Healthcare Employee Exemptions
Refusal to hear court cases concerning vaccines is nothing new in the Supreme Court. For example, a case by Massachusetts health care workers involving the legality of mandatory vaccines in conjunction with federal job discrimination and disabilities law was rejected by Justice Breyer in late November 2021(2).
What Can Christians Do?
What can Christians do when the government is against freedom? We can use our voices to pray, our hands to write emails to those in charge with whom we disagree. If we do not peacefully protest and raise our voices, the tyranny will continue. Do you not know this governmental control is only in the beginning stages. Evil hates freedom and seeks to squash it like a bug. If you do not believe this, then look at our Canadian friends who were beaten up, financially threatened, bank accounts frozen, vehicles seized with more to come in the future (3). Tyranny is like a virus, it spreads quickly, and its promotors want to control everything and everyone. Who are the promotors, you think? The globalist, the entities in high places behind governmental officials, greedy people whose wallet is fatter than their conscience, and the CCP (Ephesians 6:12). Many think the COVID-19 passport is a precursor to the mark of the evil one. Satan, fallen angels, and his followers also make up those who long for control. Revelation 13:16-17
“16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Warriors of God, let us join together in prayer for the freedom of religion for Maine and all peoples. Remember, when the religious rights of one are taken, they are taken from the whole. We are not one person. We who have faith need to stand beside the ones who have lost their rights to freedom of religion. Persecution starts one right at a time, and limiting the practice of one’s faith is the forerunner to religious oppression. If we do not raise our voices, those who banish our rights will continue to grow in their insatiable need for controlling others, and our freedoms will diminish right before our eyes.

James 4 gives a warning to those who are comfortable in their lives or who do not make action when action can be made.
