There have been so many things happening in just the last few weeks, and I want to share some things that will be important to our readers; and where possible Arsenal of the King will use Biblical prophecy to examine the news. Unfortunately, many of the news articles are disturbing or, at the very least, not good news but keep the faith Jesus will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5). Let us look to God, and His Word to see what will transpire for Jesus Christ Himself prophesied about what is coming to this world.
Matthew 24:6-8
“6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
China
The persecution and death of Christians in China and other areas of our world was prophesied by Jesus Christ. Christ calls this the beginning of what is coming.
Matthew 24:9
“9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”
China Persecution level
“New restrictions on the internet, social media and non-governmental organizations, and 2018 regulations on religion are strictly applied and seriously limit freedom. Churches are being monitored and closed down, whether they are independent or part of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, the officially sanctioned Protestant church in China.
And it’s not just the introduction of new laws that impinge on Christian activity, it’s also the stricter implementation of already existing laws, such as the ban on the online sale of Bibles.” (1)
The following report is from late 2018 but shows what is happening to our brothers and sisters in China, and according to the aforementioned report, the persecution in China has already escalated.
“Over 2,000 crosses already have been burned or ripped down from church buildings.
Many churches have been demolished.
Thousands of pastors already have been arrested, beaten, tortured and/or sentenced to years in prison.
By 2020, 600 million CCTV cameras – nearly one for every 2 Chinese citizens – will blanket China. They are being forcibly installed inside church buildings to record 24/7 the entrances, stairwells, offering boxes, and Bible counters to monitor who attends church, buys Bibles, and where those Bibles are taken.
The Chinese government’s new “social credit system” has begun to assign social credit scores to its citizens for not loitering, not jaywalking and other compliant behaviors, which eventually will include not attending “illegal” underground churches.
Chinese Christians will only be able to purchase the Communism-friendly version of the Bible that the Communist Party is presently translating.” (2)
Church, we need to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters who are being persecuted, tortured, killed, and abused for their faith.
COVID-19
Pro-life and the vaccine
The AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine is listed as unethical by a pro-life institute because of the use of cells from aborted babies; if you are pro-life and taking the vaccine, you should read this article.

Pope to take Vaccination
“Pope Francis has branded opposition to Covid-19 vaccines as “suicidal denial” and announced that he will receive a jab against the coronavirus disease next week.” (4)

Genesis 1:27
“27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
No Sex Birth Certificate
It used to be so simple when a baby was born; the attending PCP would say congratulations, you have a boy or girl. Still, now the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine has published an article contending that newborn babies should not have their sex listed on their birth certificate. Just think about this a baby is born, and the attending says congratulations, you have a whatever. That would sure be a letdown for me, no more boy or girl balloons or clothes, no more announcements, just I am having a whatever.
“An article published by the New England Journal of Medicine is arguing that birth certificates should no longer include the sex of a baby. This is justified, they claim, because of the “particularly harmful effects of such designation on intersex and transgender people.” (5)
Plural Names on Birth Certificate for Plural Marriage
This concept is so bizarre and strikes at the heart of Biblical marriage beliefs of one man-one woman. However, with the show Sisters Wives and other plural family shows hitting the airwaves, it is not surprising that legislation will begin to allow plural marriage of all types. In the following excerpt, we find a case of plural fathers on the birth certificate evidently; this is called a “throuple” relationship.

Food Shortages
Jesus Christ prophesied famine as a sign to the “beginning of sorrows” in (Matthew 24:7). Arsenal of the King was warned by God and reported food shortages were coming on March 06, 2020, we advised readers to buy dry food, and water for themselves and their families. (7)

Famine
“Famine of biblical proportions’ looms over humanity due to Covid-19, UN food chief warns.”
The Covid-19 pandemic may lead to a calamity of epic scale, with millions facing starvation worldwide, the head of the UN’s hunger-fighting body has warned.
“All the data we have, including WFP forecast that the number of people experiencing malnutrition will grow by 80 percent by the end of the year, … points to a real disaster,” David Beasley, Executive Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), said.
The rapid increase in the number of people who can’t feed themselves will be just an immediate outcome of the pandemic, which caused a disruption of food growth and logistics worldwide. More long-term damage is bound to materialize in the years to come.” (8)
Israel
God loves Israel and there is still Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled for the Hebrews. What is happening in Israel is a good way to understand where we are in the Biblical prophetic timeline. Jesus Christ prophesied that the abomination of desolation will occur in the future. Please understand that there must be a 3rd Temple build for this prophetic event to take place.
Matthew 24:15
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)”

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Temple Institute
The Temple Institute is key in preparing for the new temple. The Institute has announced the opening of a school to train descendants of the Tribe of Levi for their eventual return to service in the Third Temple.
“We are extremely excited to announce this new step towards the restoration of the Holy Temple service. We call first and foremost upon Kohanim [Levitical priests] worldwide to support this special project, which signifies a return to their birth right,” read a statement from Temple Institute director Rabbi Chaim Richman.” (9)
Temple Mount
Two members from Knesset (Israel’s Legislative branch) were able to visit the Temple Mount. Both members call for the erection of the third temple. One was able to joyously light Chanukah candles,
“Vaturi is the second Likud Knesset member to not only enter the Temple Mount, but to call for the construction of the third Temple this month.
“Earlier in December, Israel365News reported that fellow Likud parliamentarian Amit Halevi lit Chanukah candles on Tuesday outside of the Temple Mount and said that step-by-step, Israel is getting closer to the Temple.” (10)
Religion
Conservative Church Bombed
We are seeing an aggressive rise in antichristian sentiment including violence, shootings, and now a bombing in a church in the US.
“The FBI is investigating an explosion and vandalism early Saturday at a Southern California church that has drawn protests over its controversial pastor and his anti-LGBTQ views.
A fire and explosion were reported shortly after 1 a.m. at First Works Baptist Church in El Monte, about 13 miles east of Los Angeles. Police responding to the scene saw smoke billowing from windows blown out from the blast and graffiti sprayed on the outside of the single-story brick building.” (11)
Protestors Storm Church
On the sad 48th anniversary of the horrific Roe v. Wade decision a Catholic cathedral in Ohio was having a Respect Life Mass. The Mass was abruptly interrupted by pro-choice advocates who stormed the church, knocked down furniture, paraded around the church, and disrupted worship. (12)
Jesus Tee Shirt Banned
Christians in the west are not yet being persecuted like our brothers and sisters in Asia, Africa, and the Mideast; however, governmental interventions at the local, state and federal levels with anti-religious laws, ordinances, and court decisions curtailing religious freedom. Perhaps it is a Christmas song that cannot be sung because of social pressure, or players being denied the right to prayer before sports games. Religious discrimination may not have started with persecution, but Christ prophesied it would come to His children. Remember, the act of denying a person the right to wear a Christ-centered shirt sets the stage for more control over religion,

The Biden administration started its first day by declaring war on the commands of God’s Holy Word and subsequently God by codifying abortion regardless of what the Supreme Court rules. The Bible declares despair/anguish on those who write unrighteous orders and decrees.

Roe v. Wade
“The White House announced Friday that the Biden Administration will codify Roe v. Wade, which would allow for legal abortions even in the event that the Supreme Court overturns the 1973 ruling.
The Biden Administration made the announcement in a press statement put out by the White House. “The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe.” (14)

Congress
It seems our government has shunned Jesus Christ, our Creator, and instead of a prayer celebrating God, Congress joined together to pray to a Hindu god. The opening prayer for the 117th Congress started with a prayer dedicated to a pagan Hindu god, and the minister also felt emboldened to include gender instruction in the prayer,
