Pastors/Leaders Accept Abortion
What has happened to the Christian Leaders of His Church? Where are you? Have you fallen asleep? Why are you teaching to kill the innocent is fine, even going so far as blessing the abortion clinics and writing letters to approve the murder of the unborn youth of our nation? Pastors, Bishops, Deacons, Elders, Priests, and leaders, the Lord calls you back to what you were appointed to do. Why have you fallen from your duty? Do you not know that when you are a leader, people follow your lead? When you walk and teach people precepts of the Bible and the Kingdom, they follow those things, but woe unto you who lead people astray.
God hates abortion
God hates a lying tongue
Leaders, when you teach abortion is a good thing; you are doing two things God hates, lying ,and urging others to shed innocent blood.
Proverbs 6:16-19
“16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”
Pastors come back to the Word
Leaders hear the Lord
Ezekiel 34:1-11
“1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
8 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
10 Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
11 For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.”
Leaders are held to greater judgement
Beware of eternal condemnation
My fellow brothers and sisters, do you not know that you will incur the judgment of God for the things you teach and the acts you perform?
Romans 14:10-12
“10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:10-11
“10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your conscience.”
James 3:1
“1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
Pastors are to lead and feed
Pastors to lead by example
1 Peter 5:1-4
“1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
Pastors need to preach the Word
Not teachers who make them feel good
2 Timothy 4:2-4
“2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
Leaders who do not teach the truth are wolves
The Bible warned wolves would descend
Acts 20:28-30
“28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”
Southern Baptist Church
SBC supports abortion
The next part of this article details leaders who are wolves who do not obey God’s Word and openly teach and practice deeds which the Bible calls wicked.
I could not believe this when I was researching abortion. The Southern Baptist Church supported abortion in certain situations, and a former SBC president felt a baby was not a child until he or she is separate from the mommy,
“In 1971 the Southern Baptist Convention, arguably the leading voice for evangelical Christians, passed a resolution in support of abortion under conditions of “rape, incest, and clear fetal deformity,” and also if there was evidence, “… of damage to the emotional, mental, and physical health of the mother” (Annual of the Southern Baptist Convention, 1971). The Convention reaffirmed conditional support for abortion in 1974 a year after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a woman’s right to abortion (Roe v. Wade)—and again in 1976. W. A. Criswell, former president of the Southern Baptist Convention was quoted saying in a 1973 issue of Christianity Today, “I have always felt that it was only after a child was born and had a life separate from its mother that it became an individual person . . . and it has always, therefore, seemed to me that what is best for the mother and for the future should be allowed.” (1)
Pastor Refuses to get involved
Baptist Church Bipartisan on Abortion
One of the problems with the church is Pastors who do not want to get involved. Why would they not want to be involved in preaching, or peaceably protesting actions, [abortion], that are directly in defiance to Scripture. Perhaps it is that they are bowing to the culture of political correctness, or perhaps they lack the courage to speak the truth; at any count, they will be judged for their silence and lack of support to those who do right.
Here is an account of the Pastor from First Baptist Church of Bristol, VA and a woman from an abortion ministry who called for support from the Pastor and the FBC,
“Recently, Sammi Cooper from A Cause For Christ abortion ministry decided to start reaching out to her local churches to join her mission to save babies from being slaughtered in her city. The first church that came up in her Google search was FBC in Bristol, VA which is a mere 12 minute drive to the local abortion clinic. When she called she was transferred to Kris.
Sammi began to plead with him to get involved with the murder crisis down the street. Kris explained to her that his “church has many congregants who belong to all different political parties and that some would be offended”. Kris stated that “he and the congregation do not get involved with partisan issues“. Sammi then began to express that it is not a partisan issue, instead, it is murder. She continued to tell him that it is biblical to stand up for the weak (Psalm 82:3-4), be a voice for the voiceless and defend the ones who cannot defend themselves (Proverbs 31:8-10). Sammi was immediately shut down by Kris who told her he “was not going to get into a theological debate” with her.” (2)
Christian Pastors and Rabbi Bless Abortion Clinic
Abortion Clinic Called Holy
Here is an outrageous account of a rabbi and pastors encouraging even blessing abortion,
“In Washington DC, Christian pastors were joined with a Jewish rabbi to bless a late-term abortion clinic run by Leroy Carhart. These pastors have the gall to bless the clinic as a “holy space,” and they said that the staff members do everything “for God’s glory.” (3)
Baptist Pastor Supports Abortion
Teaching Falsehoods
Jason Crosby, who is a co-pastor of the Crescent Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Board of Directors of the Kentucky American Civil Liberties Union, has used his position to spout Biblical error rather than truth, and I would say Mr. Crosby read the Word of God,
“I am a Baptist preacher who is glad to stand here in solidarity with other religious leaders and those who support choice for women when it comes to abortion,” Jason Crosby, pastor of Crescent Hill Baptist Church said at the gathering outside Douglas Boulevard Christian Church………….
“Now, according to Governor Bevin, I am not a Christian, because I believe that this is in tune with my theological understanding and my scriptural interpretation,” Crosby said. “However, I am here today to tell Governor Bevin I am not only a loud and proud Christian standing up for choice, I am a Baptist preacher as well.” (4)
Ebenezer Baptist Church
Martin Luther King Jr.
A senior pastor of the Church where Martin Luther King Jr. was a co-paster with his father is now standing up for abortion, that’s right, standing up for a procedure that kills many black children,
“Monday, August 24, pastor of a Georgia megachurch who also is running for U.S. Senate said last week he believes legalized abortion is “consistent with” Christianity and he would “fight” to ensure it remains legal…..
“I believe that healthcare is a human right,” said Warnock, who has served as senior pastor of the church since 2005. “ (5)
In another article Bryant asks Warnock,
“Bryant asked Warnock how the pro-choice views of the Democrat Party “square with” his “role as a minister, a leader of a church, a man of God…”
“…I believe that it is something that the richest nation in the world provides for its citizens, and for me reproductive justice is consistent with my commitment to that.” (6)
Presbyterian Pastors
False teachers
In this article, a pastor from the Presbyterian church calls the business of abortion a ministry,
“Presbyterian Pastor: “I Love Planned Parenthood.” Calls Abortion Business a “Ministry.”” (7)
Another pastor from the Presbyterian church says to support abortion to value women,
“Presbyterian Pastor: If Christians “Truly Value Women” They Will Support Abortion.” (8)
Religious leaders support is unBiblical
Support abortion
In Iowa, 66 religious leaders send a letter to support abortion,
“Yes, it is shocking! A letter was signed by 66 religious leaders in Iowa, fully supporting the murder of babies. They sent their letter to the Des Moines Register for abortion on demand and admonishing Iowa legislators to stop their efforts to reduce the number of baby murders in Iowa.” (9)
Parishioners want the Word
Preach the Word
In a survey conducted by a ministry, supporters voted that they want current issues that affect the church preached from the pulpit,
“A survey conducted by D. James Kennedy Ministries, now led by Frank Wright, and sent to the ministry’s supporters, shows that the overwhelming majority want their pastors to address modern sins from the pulpit, such as abortion and homosexuality, as well as other current issues, such as persecution, the role of government before God and support for Israel.
“The results expose a hunger inside the church for pastors who will tackle tough topics — who will connect the dots between what the Bible teaches and what is happening in the world,” Wright said in a statement.”(10)
Church leaders fail in their duties
Numbers who believe in abortion
It is not any surprise that churchgoers are leaning towards abortions because their leaders are teaching false narrative that is good; it is honorable; it is blessed, and not the murder of a or their child. In 2019,
“About three-quarters of white evangelical Protestants (77%) think abortion should be illegal in all or most cases.
By contrast, 83% of religiously unaffiliated Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, as do nearly two-thirds of black Protestants (64%), six-in-ten white mainline Protestants (60%) and a slim majority of Catholics (56%)” (11)
False teachers
Bad results
You are teaching women to forget their child. To murder their sons and daughters in their womb, and you will face judgement, repent.
Isaiah 49:15
“15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”
Repent
Realize your actions
God is calling Pastors to repent to God for their callousness and false teachings.
Leaders, teachers, pastors, rabbis, overseers, bishops, deacons, and elders, you were given your role from God, and you will be held accountable for your actions.
Jeremiah 3:13-15
“13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.
14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Consequences of false teaching
Leaders hurt people
Pastors know the consequences of teaching falsehoods. It destroys the foundations of our faith and adds to the rot and decay of our nation.
Psalm 11:3
“3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?.”
