Breaking Bondage and Finding Your Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ

Arsenal of The King

by Jordan Joshua

Hello brothers and sisters, today we are going to talk about freedom in Christ.

There are many things people need freedom from: drugs, alcohol, anger, depression, trauma, anxiety, bondage, and sin. But the good news is this:

The Lord God Almighty gives us freedom when we turn to Him.

“But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

2 Corinthians 3:16–17

He Breaks Your Chains

When we turn to the Lord, He removes the veil. He opens our eyes.

He breaks chains. He sets us free.

You are Never Alone

We do not have to carry our pain alone anymore.

Let Jesus in and let Him do what only He can do.

“Truly, truly I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.
Now the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.
So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.”

John 8:34–36

Sin makes us Slaves to Itself

Jesus makes it clear: sin brings bondage. But Jesus brings freedom.

It does not matter what you have done or what you have been through.

Jesus can heal it and set you free right now if you will let Him.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord anointed me
to bring good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim release to captives and freedom to prisoners.”

Isaiah 61:1

Jesus wants to heal you right now. He wants to deliver you. He wants to set you free.

And I know this is real because I have lived it.

I used to try to take my own life. I used to hurt myself. I did drugs and alcohol. But Jesus set me free, and now I am over a year sober. And if He did it for me, He can do it for you too.

I know it hurts. I know the struggle is real. But it is so much better when you let Jesus in. Let Him walk with you and heal your pain. You do not have to do this alone anymore.

If you are a Christian living in bondage.

The Spirit of Christ not only will but wants to set you free.

First ask forgiveness of your sins.

Pray in the name of Jesus set me free from this bondage.

Make a Declaration to Christ that you are giving your life to Him.

You life is not your own but His.

Cultivate a daily relationship with Christ

Through prayer, reading the Word, worship and reading the Bible aloud.

Repeat as needed.

Do not be discouraged it took you awhile to be in this state keep repeating the steps.

Christ will set you free.

If you have never accepted Jesus

If you need to come back to the Lord,

This is your moment.

All you have to do is pray this prayer:

Dear Jesus,
Please forgive me.
Please help me.
Please set me free from this bondage of sin.
I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior.
I confess with my mouth that Jesus, You are Lord.
and I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Amen and Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, you are saved. Jesus loves you and He is working in your life.

Thank you for letting me share.
God bless you.
