Operation Lone Star Holds The Line To Defend Southern Border
Governor Abbot, along with the Texas (DPS) Department of Public Safety and the National Guard from Texas, stand together, Texas Strong, to Secure their families, property, livelihood, streets, communities, State, Southern Border, and all of the USA from the illegal incursion of trespassers through the Texas border. According to the Office of the Governor, the multi-agency of Operation Lone Star has led to 496,700 illegal apprehensions, law enforcement from Texas seized over 454 million lethal doses of fentanyl, made 35,100 felony charges, and made more than 38,700 criminal arrests during their mission at the Southern Border of Texas. (1)
Texas states that President Biden’s open border (open door) stops every person who is arrested, and all the drugs seized would have made their way through Texas communities that are overburdened with illegals (not to mention the murders, crimewaves, and emotional damage) from spreading to hometowns all across America. (1)
The Customs and Border Protection or U.S. Border Patrol,
“Recorded 249,785 encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border. CBP’s total encounters along the southwest border in December were 302,034. Consistent with historical trends and enhanced enforcement, the first two weeks of January saw an over 50% decrease in southwest border encounters between ports of entry according to preliminary figures. (2)
Every home must have a gatekeeper (person who stops intruders-at the very least, locks on the doors), and every Nation must have a secure border. The Biden Administration has not kept our borders safe and has unlocked the gate to our country to every form of evil.
The Biden administration refuses to budge, and Texas was forced into protecting its families and communities and had no recourse but to close its open border and lock the door to intruders into their state. Borders are vital for the sovereignty of any nation, protect a nation’s economics, and secure the Republic. As Texas has experienced without borders America cannot provide safety to its citizens. Furthermore, on Thursday, February 25, Governors from 25 Republican states signed and released a statement of solidarity with Texas, and called on Biden to uphold the rule of Law and secure America’s Southern Border,
“President Biden and his Administration have left Americans and our country completely vulnerable to unprecedented illegal immigration pouring across the Southern border. Instead of upholding the rule of law and securing the border, the Biden Administration has attacked and sued Texas for stepping up to protect American citizens from historic levels of illegal immigrants, deadly drugs like fentanyl, and terrorists entering our country.”(3)
Texas is not guarding its people from legal immigration which keeps our systems and citizens secure in their country and home protects Americans. No, they are guarding their borders against the onslaught of illegals who have hurt Texans; and put families at risk with increased crimes, and violence.
