The California Assembly has approved a horrific “trans refuge state” bill with a 48-16 majority; now, the Bill has moved on to the Senate, lawmakers adjourn at the end of September, and a vote is expected before then.
Brothers and sisters, we need to know about SB-107 Gender-affirming health care, a dangerous bill that has passed the assembly and is moving to the Senate in California. We must pray to stop this Bill from passing because it harms children mentally and emotionally. If surgery is performed, they will be harmed psychologically, and their sweet bodies will be permanently altered. It is very distressing that, according to a peer-reviewed research article by PLOS ONE, transgender people are at higher risk for suicide and attempted suicide,
“The cause-specific mortality from suicide was much higher in sex-reassigned persons, compared to matched controls…In line with the increased mortality from suicide, sex-reassigned individuals were also at a higher risk for suicide attempts.” (B)
Furthermore, these procedures slap Father God in the face as an outright stance against the goodness of creation by Creator God. The Bible clearly records in Genesis 1:27, “27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” What audacity do legislators show to go against the Creator? Surely this Bill is demonic and evil in its nature.
California’s government and the people who voted for them smeared themselves with unrighteousness of the defiled are inviting evil, and sadly many people in the State mirror the Bible verse where wrong is right and right is wrong, and every man did right in their own eyes, “20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)
The legislators, senators, lawmakers, and those who elected them should be warned, for the Lord Jesus said to love the little children, “10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)
An article from NBC News stated, “The transgender bill would similarly reject any out-of-state court judgments removing transgender children from their parent’s custody because they allowed their children to receive gender-affirming healthcare.” (1)
Basically, this means if a California parent is allowing their child to have gender healthcare, then a parent of the same child that lives out of State and gets a court judgment in their State of residence to remove the child from residing in California because of the “gender-affirming care” this court judgment will be rejected in California (1).
Believe it or not, there is more to this evil Bill. People who travel to California for gender health care will be shielded from “out-of-state subpoenas,” and the parent outside California will not receive any information, whether medical or otherwise, about said persons or entity (this is under section 1. of section 56.109) (2).
“The bill would prohibit the enforcement of an order based on another state’s law authorizing a child to be removed from their parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.” (3)
This means if you have joint custody and the other parent takes the child to California for transgender health care or surgery, even if you receive a subpoena from your State, California will not comply if the child is being treated for gender reasons and you will not receive any information about your child (2).
If the prospect of a liberal parent or guardian bringing their child to California for gender or transgender surgery or health care without the consent of the other custodial parent or guardian is not dire enough, there is more.
The Pacific Justice Organization states, “SB 107 may be the most brazen assault on fundamental parental rights in the history of this State. Lawmakers who support it should fully and reasonably expect to forever be tarnished with the justly deserved labels of enabling and 6 supporting parental and perhaps other kidnapping. This diabolical Bill must be stopped. We, therefore, urge you to take every possible step to ensure its swift defeat.” (4)
The Bill allows judges to “take temporary jurisdiction” over transgender healthcare; now, here is a big red flag; in other words, a judge may take temporary custody of a child seeking gender-affirming healthcare (4). (Remember that non-compliant parents or guardians or other entities will not be able to get information on said child.) Christians, we need to understand that those who support this Bill have made themselves enemies of the cross of Christ.
Philippians 3:18
“18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.”
Be aware that evil is not content to stay in one area; it spreads like a putrid slime creeping out of California, where it is loved, accepted, and affirmed, and springs to other states where it is welcomed. According to the Strident Conservative, “19 states have introduced or plan to introduce legislation that will shield transgender youth and their parents from facing civil or criminal penalties when seeking or receiving gender-affirming care.” (A)
Legislators should be aware that God in heaven watches everyone and everything. Judgment will come for the evil choices that are made. The Scripture is full of warnings from God to those who hold leadership positions and have the power to vote for good or evil.
Proverbs 16:12
“12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.”
The Lord God, the Judge, will judge the ungodly and their decisions if they do not protect the innocent and the afflicted.
Psalm 82:1-4
“1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Judges and rulers are instructed to do no wrong, judge fairly and honorable, and deliver the innocent from evil intent.
Jeremiah 22:3
“3 Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.”
Legislators, Assembly people, leaders, Senators, and others in power – we warn you as someone who warns about the dangers of being near a cliff – God is watching your corrupt choices, and Holy God alone will judge you. Judgment of almighty God that is done by His will alone (not through men) will come to California and the other states voting in this evil. Mind you judgement is God’s alone and people do not enact it. Whether in this time or the time to come Jesus Christ will judge every person for the decisions they make – please see Ecclesiastes 12:14. A child cannot vote or drink, but California seeks to give them rights for decisions over their bodies that they are not ready to make, including those too young to have a driver’s license. How then can this Bill allow children to make a major life choice so young? This is madness!
“The people of God turned holy places into places to worship foreign Gods (Jeremiah 19:4-9). Places that held evil acts while their sons and daughters were burnt appease the evil false God, Baal (Jeremiah 19:4-9). Or should I say the little God behind Baal, Satan. My brothers and sisters, it is unimaginable the evil that is done in our once God-fearing country.” (5).
In Isaiah 5:20 we read, “20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Now back to Isaiah 5,
“21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Therefore is the anger of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly.” (Isaiah 5:20-26)
Brothers and sisters, even though we seek to have this Bill fail, we must remember the fight is not against people. No, we fight spiritual and mental wickedness in high places and dark rulers of this world (Ephesians 6:12). Not only do we need to call to protest this Bill to our elected officials, but we must fight the unseen enemy with intercession and fasting.
Ephesians 6:12
“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
