As the divide between politics increases and ideals are held above truth, extremism has born fruit of violence. Such as with the protestors, who are against overturning Roe V. Wade, becoming violent and harming police officers (1). In cases like these, the answer is not to retaliate violence with violence. Without a question, police officers must and should protect their community; however, as Christians, we must stand firm on Biblical values.
“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:12 KJV
Let us not give in to emotional reasoning but remain honorable and peacefully counter the anti-Biblical principles and powers. We, much as the Bereans, search for the truth and then prepare a defense for the truth (1 Peter 3:15, Acts 17:11).
One of the avenues for defending the faith is through Nonviolent Action reported by Albert Einstein Institution (2).

Some of these may not be honorable, and some may be more effective than others. As such, the list simply displays the several forms of nonviolent action. I ask you to take the time to read through it and use the discernment of the Lord to find what would work best for you and your group to further the Kingdom of Heaven.
