Ephesians 4:4-6
“4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
The western church has accepted every wave of doctrine thrown at it; what has happened? Where are the preachers, the watchmen, the teachers, why have they abandoned their pulpit, the sacred trust they were given to uphold the truth in the Word of God? What happened to the church impacting the culture, instead of Christians changing the mores of society we have bowed the knee to the world and abandoned our posts as watchmen. We are abandoning our sense of duty, and with that abandonment we have lost our sacred trust given to us by Christ, and sadly we are are abandoning our loyalty to God. When we bow the knee to the world and it’s system we are abandoning the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are abandoning the truth of the Holy Scripture. As Christians we are called to go out into the world and preach the gospel, preach the Word of God. If we believe in Jesus Christ it is time to act like it. If one says he has faith let his actions say so.
James 2:17-20
“17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”
If we start allowing and accepting teachings that originate from other religions or psychology, then what are we? Surely not Christian but a mix, the sweet water of God does not mix with the bitter water of deceit and paganism, no the mix makes the water poisonous and unable to drink. The foundation in which Christ gave us to work upon is the Word of God (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). We must understand our duty and lay down our lives as Jesus Christ laid down His life (Luke 9:23-26). We have to test all ideas in light of the Scripture and not take any ideal as it comes to us (Acts 17:11), for there is one Lord one Faith and one baptism. Only through Christ is it possible to be saved, and only through Christ can Christianity progress. Progress is not new ideas, bringing, or incorporating new practices, procedures or alluring things derived from the world, pagan religions, new age or our culture within the church, the only framework of change approved by Christ does not co-mingle with worldly practices; God calls Christians to preach and bring the lost to Him and disciple the saved. The groundwork has been made, there is no need to take away the foundation that has already been laid perfectly by Jesus Christ.
This duty to our Scripture and our faith has been abandoned; we must understand that there is only one faith. Instead of seeing it as a philosophical ideal, we should understand our religion is a strong unshakable faith in Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 1:19). When others come preaching another religion, we should speak on the divinity of Jesus Christ, not be timid and go oh well, that is just your belief. Instead, we must be strong; our minds must become like flint (Ezekiel 3:8-9). It is no wonder the western church has not been persecuted; they are killing themselves. Their faith means nothing because they act as if it means nothing. If it is true that Christ has done so much for you, preach it on the streets, at work, at school and most importantly live the Christian life taught in Biblical precepts. If it is true there is one true God, tell people. If it is true, that Christianity is the only true faith, speak. Why have we abandoned our duty to the Lord, in speaking what He has spoken and taught us? As a church, we must stand up when they wish to silence us. If they try to silence us let us become that much louder. Timidity is not of the Lord, but a strong mind (2 Timothy 1:7-8). The Lord teaches on the mind being on the things of Christ, so that way, we may speak out against the fallacies that try to dismantle our belief. The disciples of old, faced some of the strongest minds of history, the Roman and Greek philosophers. Yet they did not kowtow to their ideals, no they spoke out against them, even calling some of their ideal’s doctrine of demons. Of course, not all their ideas were wrong or evil, but there was a great deal of doctrine of demons during that age. Beware Christians for much doctrine that is derived from demons is creeping stealthily into our church.
Now the ideals we face are that of complacency, of everyone having their own quiet faith. The faith of Christianity is that of loud faith; THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD ONE FAITH ONE BAPTISM. And of course, ONE LORD, which is Christ Jesus. It is good to live a peaceful quiet life (1 Timothy 2:1-2, Romans 12:18). But the Scripture does not speak on having a quiet faith, oh no! not at all. The prophets of old when given the Word of God, were told to go and speak before kings, before men, before governments. Now we, holding the Word of God, should go forward and speak the truth, speak the Word of God. Listening to the Holy Spirit as He calls us in our inner man, speaking to tyrants, leaders, and all men, but never being silent about our belief in Christ, for it is more than a simple faith, it is a commitment. We have accepted a whole new life turning our back on the world and our old life to Christ. We have given our life to Christ, and we now live as disciples of Christ. We are made new because Jesus gave His life on the cross. We have accepted Him as master, for He has given His life for us, so we lay our life down for Him.
There is an onslaught of false doctrine chipping away at our foundation of faith. It’s time fill yourself with the Word of God and to strike the pagan ideologies with the sword of the Word and destroy the idols we have allowed in our sanctuaries by speaking out against the doctrine of demons invading our church. We should see it as a siege and prepare our defense, kicking out the new age, the LGBTQ, progressiveness, legalism, and all forms of false teachings. It does not matter if you see yourself as a nobody, if people start speaking against the Scripture, and our faith then I implore you to speak up. The disciples were nobodies, yet the Lord chose them, and through His Holy Spirit, they were able to do much, indeed with the power of Christ they turned the world upside down. Living for Christ is doing things radically, and frankly, what is speaking up compared to the persecuted church all around the world. Our brothers and sisters around the world are told to deny Jesus or perish, and when they refuse they are having their heads cut off, being burned at the stake and hung. Our comfort and lusciousness of life has turned us complacent, and full. We have turned soft and forgotten our duty, as a fat cop, in a rural town who has rarely seen problems, we have become fat sheepdogs. As watchmen we have to stand up, as teachers, we must stand, as preachers we must stand, as pastors, we must stand, as brothers and sisters in Christ we must stand, as Christians we must stand against all waves of false doctrine, false religion, and false ideals trying to invade.
The wall has been destroyed, our ability to defend against falsehoods has been comprised and now the enemy, satan, seeks to overthrow the temple of God. We must kick the enemy out, re-erect our walls through the Word of God. Brothers and sisters set up cannons striking the enemy, with the sword of the Word of God, that shows people the truth, with fasting and repentance, with prayer, and obedience to Christ. Seek forgiveness that you have not used your voice for truth, and pray for your voice to be established in the Word. He will answer He wants you to be His disciple and He will give you the words to speak out against evolution, to speak out against LGBTQ, to speak out against the new age, to speak out against paganism and speak out against the doctrines of devils. The Lord God will give you the means to set up cannons on the wall His weapons are mighty. One of the mighty weapons is the Word of God, the Holy Bible. Gods Word is true, prophecy after prophecy has been confirmed look at the state of Israel its very existence is a confirmation that Gods Word is true. Can a nation be born in a day? It was, it did (Isaiah 66:8). Christian how can you speak out against worldly ideals, if you doubt parts of the Word of God? This allows your wall to come down, and because you lost the ammunition found in Gods Word, you have nothing to shoot off. Our ideals become worthless, although on the outside looking good, they are simply founded on nothing. What makes our Faith so strong is our belief in Christ and our belief in the truth of the Word of God.
1 Corinthians 10:4-6
“4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
